The types of 8mm film tapes

The begining of 8mm film tape is 1932. The Kodak company starts the production of 2x8mm film tape, based on 16mm tape (after developement the film is cut along on two pieces). The 8mm tape is being quickly spread thanks to the low price. In Poland the progress of 8mm tape falls to the after World War II years thanks to importing of equipment from USSR and Czechoslovakia.
